With "Elysian Park" I follow the idea of leaving our usual environment to enter a different state of nature to explore mystery. It is about outgoing the human body in terms of experiencing a dionysian state to connect to the other self. in my pictures I try to reproduce images of utopian dreams. Half of the project I photographed in California (2008) with boys and the images were inspired by psychedelic music and visions of light. The other half I photographed in Berlin (2009) with girls in the woods, exploring more female aspects and this was highly influenced by images and stories of voodoo and elves.
